In reviewing a recent essay by Ray Dalio, co-chief investment officer & co-chairman of Bridgewater Associates, L.P., Dr. Poczter stated that the the maladies of capitalism, such as income inequality as well as other inequalities in such areas as education and health care, are not the fault of capitalism but a failing government. Her preferred solution is a public-private partnership with philanthropists [which] could be just what this nation needs to really level the playing field.
